We often meet clients struggling to sit on their office chair for more than around 20-30 minutes at a time, due to pressure build up. This can be caused by a large variety of reasons, from injury to long term conditions, and include issues such as sciatica, bursitis, sacroiliac joint injury, coccyx injury, slipped discs, to name but a few.
In fact we recently had a request to make a bespoke seat for a client with one leg shorter than the other. We were able to make her a special seat with one inflatable side, to counteract the imbalance this caused.
At the same time, we developed a special seat with two inflatable cushions, on memory foam, to offer pressure relief, providing greater levels of comfort for longer for others who find it difficult sitting for long periods of time.
